The Three Kings Parade (‘Cavalcada del Reis Mags’ in Catalan, or ‘Cabalgata de los Reyes Magos’ in Spanish) is a special event for children celebrated in January. Every year, Their Majesties get together and make a grand journey from the Far East to bring presents and good wishes to all the children who have been good during the year.
If you happen to be in Barcelona on January 5th, you can take part in this special journey and see the Three Wise Men arriving in a grand parade in the city streets. If you are in another city or town in Catalonia, note that many celebrate parades too so check the city/town council website to confirm whether there’s going to be one in your location.
